Resumo: RESUMO
Tendo em vista que a aplicação das tecnologias da informação na educação vem
ganhando cada vez mais notoriedade. Nesse sentido, fez-se uma abordagem sobre o
uso do computador na perspectiva pedagógica do ensino fundamental da Escola
Municipal Papa João Paulo II do Município de Santa Inês- MA, com os objetivos de
descrever como é o uso desse recurso na perspectiva pedagógica do ensino
fundamental e identificar qual o nível de capacitação do corpo docente da escola em
relação a utilização do computador no contexto pedagógico. Realizou-se, então, uma
pesquisa de finalidade básica estratégica, com objetivos descritivo e exploratório, com
abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa e executada por meio de levantamento
bibliográfico e pesquisa de campo na Escola. Diante disso, verificou-se que é
indubitável a necessidade da integração e incorporação do computador na prática
pedagógica, pois o mesmo é entendido como uma ferramenta de auxílio para o
professor e ao mesmo tempo que se torna um elemento motivador para os alunos,
porquanto permite interação e aprendizagem, que se difere dos modelos tradicionais,
o que impõe a constatação de que com o uso dessa ferramenta o educador tem a
possibilidade de melhorar e aperfeiçoar sua prática e contribuir de forma significativa
na evolução e desenvolvimento dos seus alunos.___ABSTRACT
Considering that the application of information technologies in education is gaining
more and more notoriety. In this sense, an approach was made about the use of the
computer in the pedagogical perspective of the elementary education of the Municipal
School Papa João Paulo II of the Municipality of Santa Inês-Ma, with the objective of
describing how is the use of this resource in the pedagogical perspective of teaching
fundamental and identify the level of training of the school's teaching staff in relation to
the use of computers in the pedagogical context. A basic strategic research was carried
out, with descriptive and exploratory objectives, with a qualitative and quantitative
approach and carried out through bibliographic survey and field research at the School.
In view of this, it was verified that the need for the integration and incorporation of the
computer in the pedagogical practice is undoubted, since it is understood as a tool to
help the teacher and at the same time it becomes a motivating element for the
students, as it allows interaction and learning, which differs from traditional models,
which imposes the observation that with the use of this tool the educator has the
possibility to improve and perfect his practice and contribute significantly to the
