As sequências foram recortadas de um acontecimento televisivo no qual o apresentador Ratinho questiona a legitimidade da deputada federal Erika Hilton para ocupar a presidência da Comissão das Mulheres da Câmara dos Deputados, enquanto outro integrante do programa intervém com a formulação “Tá tirando o espaço”. O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender como determinadas marcas linguístico-discursivas contestam o pertencimento de Erika Hilton à categoria mulher e significam a presença de mulheres trans em espaços de representação política. Como fundamentação teórica, mobilizam-se os conceitos de memória discursiva, interdiscurso, formação discursiva, pré-construído, efeito de evidência, equívoco, paráfrase e condições de produção, desenvolvidos por Michel Pêcheux e pesquisadores da Análise do Discurso, em diálogo com estudos de gênero. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa e interpretativa, considerando tanto a dimensão verbal quanto elementos da materialidade audiovisual. Os resultados evidenciam o funcionamento de uma formação discursiva cisnormativa que associa a categoria mulher ao sexo biológico e significa a representação política de mulheres trans como perda de espaço para mulheres cisgêneras. Observou-se ainda que a intervenção de uma segunda voz produz um efeito de ratificação dos sentidos mobilizados pelo apresentador e que a televisão participa de sua circulação e possível legitimação social. ABSTRACT This study analyzes, from the perspective of Materialist Discourse Analysis, two discursive sequences produced during Programa do Ratinho, broadcast by the Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) in March 2026. The sequences were selected from a televised event in which the host Ratinho questions the legitimacy of federal congresswoman Erika Hilton to preside over the Women’s Commission of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, while another participant intervenes with the statement “She’s taking away the space.” The research aims to understand how specific linguistic-discursive marks challenge Erika Hilton’s belonging to the category woman and construct the presence of transgender women in spaces of political representation. The theoretical framework draws on the concepts of discursive memory, interdiscourse, discursive formation, preconstructed meanings, evidence effect, equivocation, paraphrase, and conditions of production, developed by Michel Pêcheux and other Discourse Analysis scholars, in dialogue with gender studies. The research adopts a qualitative and interpretative approach, considering both verbal formulations and elements of audiovisual materiality. The results reveal the functioning of a cisnormative discursive formation that associates the category woman with biological criteria and signifies the political representation of transgender women as a loss of space for cisgender women. The analysis also shows that the intervention of a second voice produces an effect of ratification of the meanings mobilized by the host and that television participates in their circulation and possible social legitimization. 2026-07-16T00:00:00Z http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/10820 Título: Estrangeirismos em anúncios de emprego no linkedin: Discursos sobre o profissional contemporâneo Autor(es): BRANDÃO, Lucas do Nascimento Resumo: Este artigo analisa o papel dos estrangeirismos em língua inglesa no LinkedIn, investigando de que modo tais ocorrências, articuladas ao discurso corporativo, contribuem para a construção da imagem do profissional contemporâneo. Ancorado na perspectiva discursiva de Michel Foucault, o estudo compreende esses estrangeirismos não apenas como recursos linguísticos, mas como elementos implicados em mecanismos de poder e na construção de condutas. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e documental, cujo corpus é constituído por quatro enunciados coletados na referida rede social, caracterizados como propostas de emprego. Os resultados indicam que expressões recorrentes na rotina laboral, como deadline, feedback, home office e mindset, operam como dispositivos de controle sutil, ao deslocarem para o trabalhador a responsabilidade pela autogestão do tempo, pela regulação do desempenho e pela adaptação às exigências institucionais. Conclui-se que o uso do vocabulário anglófono funciona como marcador de prestígio e como estratégia de subjetivação, incentivando práticas de autovigilância e conformando o sujeito às demandas do mercado de trabalho contemporâneo. Descrição: This article analyzes the role of English loanwords on LinkedIn, investigating how these lexical items, articulated within corporate discourse, contribute to the construction of the image of the contemporary professional. Grounded in Michel Foucault's discourseoriented perspective, the study understands these terms not merely as linguistic resources but as elements involved in mechanisms of power and the shaping of conduct. Methodologically, this is a qualitative and documentary study whose corpus consists of four statements collected from the LinkedIn social network, characterized as job advertisements. The findings indicate that expressions frequently associated with workplace routines, such as deadline, feedback, home office, and mindset, operate as subtle mechanisms of control by shifting to workers the responsibility for self-managing their time, regulating their own performance, and adapting to institutional demands. F. Kuang, analisando de que modo conceitos como equivalência, intraduzibilidade, distorção, domesticação e estrangeirização contribuem para a construção do sistema de magia do romance e para a caracterização dos personagens enquanto tradutores no contexto acadêmico e colonial de Babel. A fundamentação teórica apoia-se principalmente em Pym (2017), em diálogo com autores como Nida (1964), Vinay e Darbelnet (1958 apud PYM, 2017), Vermeer e Reiss (1984), Venuti (1995) e Barbosa (1990). Metodologicamente, é uma pesquisa bibliográfica, qualitativa e explicativa, baseada na análise interpretativa de trechos do romance nos quais a tradução aparece como prática técnica, elemento mágico e instrumento ideológico. A análise sugere que Kuang mobiliza paradigmas tradutórios para evidenciar a impossibilidade da equivalência perfeita e para representar a tradução como prática atravessada por escolhas, perdas semânticas, disputas culturais e relações de poder e que não cabe no processo de traduzir, a adoção de modelos prescritivos, uma vez que é demonstrado, nas discussões dentro da narrativa, as nuances que tornam a tradução imperfeita bem como sua realização. ABSTRACT This study investigates which theories or paradigms of translation are present in R. F. Kuang’s historical fantasy Babel, or the Necessity of Violence, analyzing how concepts such as equivalence, untranslatability, distortion, domestication, and foreignization contribute to the construction of the novel’s magical system and to the characterization of its protagonists as translators within Babel’s academic and colonial context. The theoretical framework relies primarily on Pym (2017), in dialogue with scholars such as Nida (1964), Vinay and Darbelnet (1958 apud Pym, 2017), Vermeer and Reiss (1984), Venuti (1995), and Barbosa (1990). Methodologically, the research is bibliographic, qualitative, and explanatory, based on the interpretive analysis of passages in which translation emerges as a technical practice, a magical element, and an ideological instrument. The analysis suggests that Kuang mobilizes translation paradigms to underscore the impossibility of perfect equivalence and to represent translation as a practice shaped by choices, semantic losses, cultural disputes, and power relations. No Brasil, questiona-se como esses arquétipos de medo da tradição são ressignificados para a realidade do país. Diante o exposto, justifica-se a investigação sobre a transposição da tradição gótica na produção ficcional de Humberto de Campos (1886-1934). O objetivo central consiste em analisar como os elementos góticos da tradição europeia são readaptados no cenário regional, configurando o que se propõe como um sertãolocus de horror e desolação. Para essa finalidade, os objetivos específicos buscam: identificar e descrever os elementos góticos presentes nos contos A Luz dos Mortos e A Promessa; investigar o papel da culpa, da fé e da superstição na produção do medo como efeito estético; e comparar a escrita de Campos com as convenções góticas europeias, a fim de evidenciar as especificidades que sustentam a noção de um gótico nacional. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva, que utiliza como corpus de análise os contos selecionados presentes na coletânea O Monstro e Outros Contos (1962). A fundamentação apoia-se na compreensão do gênero como maleável, capaz de transfigurar ansiedades sociais em tropos estéticos, amparando-se na teoria estrutural de David Punter (1996) sobre a literatura do terror e nos estudos sobre o gótico nacional de Julio França (2016, 2017) e João Pedro Bellas (2020). A análise evidencia que o autor promove uma estética singular entre o regionalismo e o gótico, validando uma transposição brasileira do gênero sustentada pela construção de uma atmosfera de opressão ancorada na realidade regional. In Brazil, it is questioned how these archetypes of fear from the tradition are resignified for the country's reality. Given the above, the investigation into the transposition of the Gothic tradition in the fictional production of Humberto de Campos (1886-1934) is justified. The central objective is to analyze how the Gothic elements of the European tradition are readapted in the regional setting, configuring what is proposed as a sertãolocus of horror and desolation. To this end, the specific objectives seek to: identify and describe the Gothic elements present in the short stories A Luz dos Mortos and A Promessa; investigate the role of guilt, faith, and superstition in the production of fear as an aesthetic effect; and compare Campos' writing with European Gothic conventions, in order to highlight the specificities that sustain the notion of a national Gothic. This is a bibliographic, qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research, using as a corpus of analysis the selected short stories present in the collection O Monstro e Outros Contos (1962). The theoretical framework is based on the understanding of the genre as malleable, capable of transfiguring social anxieties into aesthetic tropes, drawing on David Punter's (1996) structural theory on the literature of terror and the studies on national Gothic by Julio França (2016, 2017) and João Pedro Bellas (2020).
