A metodologia do trabalho baseou-se em análise do conteúdo do discurso textual de uma amostragem de livros, fundamentando-se a discussão como base no referencial teórico, proposto dos trabalhos de Mohr (1995), Vidal & Porto (2012), com a devida adequação em alguns critérios. Os resultados mostraram que a abordagem histórica e filosófica ainda é superficial nos livros didáticos analisados bem como não se observou nos conteúdos apresentados sobre vacinas um aprofundamento científico e contextualização satisfatória, pontuando mais os critérios básicos de apresentação e informação sobre cientistas. Os objetivos são verificar e analisar o nível de aprendizagem dos alunos sobre este tema, e através dos resultados obtidos desenvolver uma atividade que relacione a função afim com os conceitos presentes na Física do ensino fundamental, de forma a trabalhar os pontos identificados como de maior dificuldade para os alunos. Para esses objetivos serem alcançados, foi aplicada uma atividade em duas escolas do ensino fundamental da rede pública de ensino, através da análise das respostas dos alunos foi possível perceber a necessidade de se trabalhar melhor o gráfico da função afim e sua aplicação em situações problema. Então, foi desenvolvida uma atividade relacionando a função horária do Movimento Retilíneo Uniforme com a função afim, buscando trabalhar esses dois pontos identificados através dos resultados das atividades. Assim conclui-se com este trabalho que o cenário do ensino de função afim nas escolas pesquisadas não foge dos resultados já descritos em trabalhos anteriores de autores consultados. Descrição: ABSTRACT This paper describes and analyzes the affine function and its application in science teaching The objectives are to verify and analyze the students' level of learning about on this topic, and through the obtained results to develop an activity that relates the affine function to the concepts present in the physics of elementary education, in order to work the identified points of greatest difficulty for students. In order to achieve these objectives, an activity was implemented in two elementary schools of the public school system, through the analysis of the students' responses it was possible to perceive the need to work better the graph of the affine function and its application in problem situations. Then an activity was developed relating the hourly function of the Uniform Linear Motion the affine function, seeking to work these two points identified through the results of the activities. Thus, it is concluded with this work that the scenario of teaching of affine function in the schools studied does not escape the results already described in previous studies of authors consulted. O objetivo desse programa é revelar talentos e impulsionar o ensino da Matemática. Assim, foi realizada uma pesquisa com objetivo de compreender o impacto que a OBMEP apresenta nas escolas estaduais no município de Timbiras-MA. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida através da aplicação de questionários com alunos e professores da 3º série do ensino médio do Centro de Ensino PAULO FREIRE e do Centro de Ensino NEWTON NEVES. Com isso, observou-se a necessidade de uma política voltada para a olimpíada, no entanto é perceptível a falta de interesse das escola, dos professores e dos alunos no quesito importância da OBMEP. The goal of this program is to unveil talents and boost the teaching of Mathematics. Thus, a research was carried out to understand the impact that OBMEP presents in state schools in the city of Timbiras-MA.
