A imagem da mulher no futebol feminino: um olhar a partir da liguagem

Abstract

RESUMO: As mulheres no esporte no Brasil enfrentam desafios como falta de investimento, desigualdade de oportunidades, discriminação de gênero e falta de visibilidade. Tais desafios se mostram ainda mais presentes no futebol, já que é um esporte dominado pelos homens. Nesse sentido, dentre as discriminações sofridas nesse esporte, o preconceito em relação ao ser feminino é muito presente, proferido também por mulheres, mas principalmente por homens, que às vezes podem minimizar suas palavras para não transparecerem o que realmente são. Nessa perspectiva, o projeto visa analisar como o preconceito com a imagem da mulher é demonstrado através da linguagem acerca do futebol feminino, e como a mudança do entrevistador pode mascarar essa discriminação através do tabu linguístico. A abordagem e o tratamento dos dados são qualitativos e a natureza da pesquisa é exploratória, com um roteiro de perguntas pré-estabelecido, incluindo estudo bibliográfico e de caso para aprofundar a análise e abrir caminhos para futuras pesquisas. Para o referencial teórico serão utilizados estudiosos e especialistas da sociolinguística, do feminismo e da teoria social como: Nicolau Sevcenko (1992), Knijnik & Vasconcellos (2003), Koch (2010), Fiorin (1998), Beauvoir (1970), Labov (2008), Mansus Guérios (1979), Leitão (1981), Foucault (2010), Pêcheux (1995), Ribeiro e Garcez (2002), além de artigos científicos complementares. As entrevistas serão realizadas com indivíduos de diferentes faixas etárias, níveis de escolaridade e gêneros em Vitorino Freire-MA, abordando doze perguntas sobre o futebol feminino e as mulheres jogadoras. Além disso, será explorado como a sociedade enxerga as mulheres no futebol e como a linguagem reflete ideologias e pensamentos, incluindo mudanças na forma de falar e o uso de termos tabus em relação ao gênero do entrevistador. Isso pode gerar reflexões sobre a visão da sociedade e contribuir para futuras pesquisas sociolinguísticas nessa mesma área.__ABSTRACT: Women in sport in Brazil face challenges such as lack of investment, unequal opportunities, gender discrimination and lack of visibility. These challenges are even more present in soccer, since it is a male-dominated sport. In this sense, among the discrimination suffered in this sport, prejudice against women is very present, also uttered by women, but mainly by men, who can sometimes minimize their words so as not to reveal what they really are. From this perspective, the project aims to analyze how prejudice against the image of women is demonstrated through language about women's soccer, and how the interviewer's change can mask this discrimination through linguistic taboo. The approach and treatment of the data is qualitative and the nature of the research is exploratory, with a pre-established script of questions, including bibliographical and case studies to deepen the analysis and open up avenues for future research. The theoretical framework will be based on scholars and specialists in sociolinguistics, feminism and social theory, such as Nicolau Sevcenko (1992), Knijnik & Vasconcellos (2003), Koch (2010), Fiorin (1998), Beauvoir (1970), Labov (2008), Mansus Guérios (1979), Leitão (1981), Foucault (2010), Pêcheux (1995), Ribeiro and Garcez (2002), as well as complementary scientific articles. The interviews will be conducted with individuals from different age groups, education levels and genders in Vitorino Freire MA, addressing twelve questions about women's soccer and women players. In addition, it will explore how society views women in soccer and how language reflects ideologies and thoughts, including changes in the way of speaking and the use of taboo terms in relation to the gender of the interviewer. This can generate reflections on society's view and contribute to future sociolinguistic research in the same area.
