Ancestralidade e vivências Tenetehara: o ensino de química na aldeia Ponta D ́água, terra indígena Araribóia, Grajaú-MA

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo conhecer elementos centrais da cultura Tenetehara e a prática do ensino de Quimica na Escola Indígena WeWe WeWe da Aldeia Ponta D'água, Terra Indigena Araribóia, Grajaú- MA, situada às margens da BR-066. Assim, descreve elementos como, o ritual da menina moça, a pintura corporal, a prática de caça e da pesca, como manifestações culturais que contribuem para o fortalecimento e valorização da identidade Tenetehara. Apresenta a dinâmica (práticas curriculares, material didático, dentre outros) acerca do ensino de Química, I ao 3º ano do Ensino Médio, vivenciado na escola Indigena WeWe WeWe, Aldeia Ponta D'água. E, identifica a percepção dos alunos da Escola Indígena WeWe WeWe da Aldeia Ponta D'água, sobre o ensino de Química vivenciado. A metodologia do trabalho consistiu em uma pesquisa do tipo etnográfico de natureza qualitativa, complementada por uma pesquisa de campo e com a realização de entrevistas com lideranças indigenas da comunidade e com a aplicação de questionários aos alunos Tenetehara do Ensino Médio de 1º a 3º séries. Os resultados apontaram para a necessidade de articulação entre os saberes indigenas Tenetehara e o conhecimento acadêmico, atrelados ao ensino de Química, em uma perspectiva de educação diferenciada e intercultural. Como também, a necessidade da inserção de práticas laboratoriais na área de Ciências na aldeia, de forma a criar o diálogo entre o saber ancestral, tradicional e a ciência moderna. ABSTRACT

This study aimed to understand central elements of the Tenetehara culture and the practice of teaching Chemistry at the WeWe WeWe Indigenous School in the Ponta D'água Village, Araribóia Indigenous Land, Grajaú-MA, located on the banks of the BR-066 highway. It describes elements such as the girl's coming-of-age ritual, body painting, hunting and fishing practices as cultural manifestations that contribute to the strengthening and appreciation of Tenetehara identity. It presents the dynamics (curricular practices, teaching materials, among others) of Chemistry teaching, from the 1st to the 3rd year of high school, experienced at the WeWe WeWe Indigenous School in the Ponta D'água Village. Finally, it identifies the perceptions of the students at the WeWe WeWe Indigenous School in the Ponta D'água Village regarding their experience with Chemistry education. The methodology of this work consisted of ethnographic research of a qualitative nature, complemented by field research and interviews with indigenous community leaders, as well as questionnaires administered to Tenetehara high school students in grades 1-3. The results pointed to the need for articulation between Tenetehara indigenous knowledge and academic knowledge, linked to the teaching of Chemistry, from a perspective of differentiated and intercultural education. It also highlighted the need for the inclusion of laboratory practices in the area of Science in the village, in order to create a dialogue between ancestral, traditional knowledge and modern science.
