A influência dos personagens secundários na construção da personagem principal: uma análise da obra “A Bolsa Amarela”, de Lygia Bojunga

Abstract

RESUMO: O livro A Bolsa Amarela, de Lygia Bojunga, publicado em 1976, aborda temas sobre a infância, autoconhecimento e a construção da identidade. Ele retrata sobre Raquel, uma menina que vive em conflito consigo mesma e esconde sua vontade de crescer, ser menino e ser escritora dentro de sua bolsa amarela. A garota mistura realidade e fantasia e encontra, ao longo da história, amigos que a ajudam nessa sua aventura de afirmação como pessoa. Este artigo tem como objetivo compreender como os personagens secundários contribuem para a construção identitária da personagem principal Raquel. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa é de tipo bibliográfico e documental. Teoricamente, este trabalho está embasado em autores como Brait (1985); Cademartori (2010); Coelho (2000) e (2006); Colomer (2017); Hall (2006); Zilberman (2005) entre outros. Os resultados desta análise, mostraram que a obra possibilitou explorar sobre o processo de identidade e a infância, revelando ser uma etapa complexa e de construção social. ABSTRACT: The book The Yellow Purse, by Lygia Bojunga, published in 1976, explores themes of childhood, self-knowledge, and the construction of identity. It tells the story of Raquel, a girl who is at odds with herself and hides her desire to grow up, to be a boy, and to become a writer inside her yellow purse. The girl blurs the lines between reality and fantasy and, throughout the story, meets friends who help her on her journey toward self-affirmation. This article aims to understand how the secondary characters contribute to the identity formation of the main character, Raquel. The methodology used in this research is bibliographic and documentary. Theoretically, this study is grounded in the work of authors such as Brait (1985); Cademartori (2010); Coelho (2000) and (2006); Colomer (2017); Hall (2006); Zilberman (2005), among others. The results of this analysis showed that the work made it possible to explore the process of identity formation and childhood, revealing it to be a complex stage shaped by social construction.
