| Resumo: | O foco deste trabalho é analisar como o cristianismo é tratado nas quatro fases dos estudos africanos, notadamente, na segunda metade do século XIX, e nos primeiro, segundo e terceiro terço do século XX. Esta divisão dos estudos africanos ou, mais precisamente, das diferentes fases por meio das quais a África é inscrita, é proposta por Eduardo Devés Valdéz. Desse modo, a intenção da pesquisa é observar as principais características de cada uma dessas fases no que tange ao lugar da discussão sobre o cristianismo. |
| Descrição: | ABSTRACT The focus of this work is to analyze how Christianity is treated in the four phases of African studies, notably in the second half of the nineteenth century, and in the first, second and third third of the twentieth century. This division of African studies or, more precisely, of the different phases through which Africa is inscribed, is proposed by Eduardo Devés Valdéz. In this way, the intention of the research is to observe the main characteristics of each one of these phases with regard to the place of the discussion about Christianity. |
