O rio Magú: uma análise dos aspectos socioculturais dos balneários no povoado de Cana Brava-MA

Abstract

RESUMO O presente trabalho tem por objetivo realizar uma análise sociológica sobre o rio Magú e sua relação social e cultural com a população no povoado de Cana Brava-MA; entre os municípios de Água doce – MA e Araióses – MA; tendo em vista os balneários presentes nos povoados, a importância e os impactos que esses locais exercem nas relações construídas no município. Para isso, optou-se em realizar-se uma pesquisa qualitativa com levantamento bibliográfico dos autores que versassem no primeiro momento sobre a formação histórica dos municípios banhados pelo rio Magú, visando demonstrar a importância deste, para a construção de identidades locais nos moradores ribeirinhos, dentre eles: Caldas e Rodrigues (2005), Costa (2008), Aguiar (2011) e Dourado (2016). Na segunda sessão, abordaremos as políticas de uso dos recursos hídricos, para pôr fim na terceira sessão, expor os resultados de nossa pesquisa qualitativa realizada tanto com moradores ribeirinhos bem como, com os proprietários dos balneários. A pesquisa se realizou no mês de dezembro de 2021, e procurou coletar dados da percepção do uso do rio para a implantação dos balneários as margens do rio Magú, e, dessa maneira compreender de que modo esse uso tem trazido benefícios para a comunidade local e também com vistas a conservação do rio Magú. Além disso, esses benefícios são associados não só ao convívio que as comunidades dentro do município têm, mas também à um debate acerca das práticas ecológicas e de políticas públicas para a preservação dos Rio Magú. As práticas conscientes, como pode ser observados, devem ser cada vez mais aproximadas a uma espécie de turismo ecológico, onde o comércio e a relação de uso do bem natural é revisto com a discussão mais didática sobre ecologia com a comunidade, donos de balneários e turistas. Ou seja, o debate passa tanto por uma perspectiva de contribuição social por parte dos balneários, quanto por uma maior necessidade de contribuição e fiscalização para uso responsável das águas do rio Magú por conta dos turistas que ali frequentam.___ABSTRACT Starting from my personal inquiry about “how the resorts present in the municipality can culturally contribute to the development, recognition and preservation practices of the Magú River”, the present work aims to carry out a sociological analysis on the Magú River and its social and cultural relationship. with the population in the town of Cana Brava; between the municipalities of Água Doce – MA and Araióses – MA; considering the resorts present in the towns, the importance and the impacts that these places have on the relationships built in the municipality. For this, it was decided to carry out qualitative research with a bibliographic survey of authors who dealt at the first moment with the historical formation of the municipalities bathed by the Magú River, aiming to demonstrate its importance for the construction of local identities in the riverside dwellers, among them: Caldas and Rodrigues (2005), Costa (2008), Aguiar (2011) and Dourado (2016). In the second session, we will address the policies for the use of water resources, to end the third session, we will present the results of our qualitative research carried out both with riverside residents and with the owners of the spas. The research was carried out in December 2021, and sought to collect data on the perception of the use of the river for the implementation of spas on the banks of the Magú River, and, in this way, to understand how this use has brought benefits to the local community and also with a view to conserving the Magú River. Conscious practices, as can be seen, must be increasingly approximated to a kind of ecological tourism, where trade and the relationship of use of the natural asset is reviewed with a more didactic discussion on ecology with the community, bathhouse owners and tourists. In other words, the debate involves both a perspective of social contribution on the part of the resorts, as well as a greater need for contribution and inspection for the responsible use of the waters of the Magú river on behalf of the tourists who frequent there.
