As condições facilitadoras de Carl Rogers na promoção da saúde mental: estudo teórico

Abstract

RESUMO O presente trabalho versa sobre o lugar das condições facilitadoras de Carl Rogers na promoção da saúde mental. Estudou-se para compreensão da temática a Psicologia humanista, mais especificamente a obra de Carl Rogers, a história da Psiquiatria no ocidente e a doença mental na contemporaneidade. O enredo do desenvolvimento deste trabalho deu-se através dos seguintes capítulos: O primeiro, denominado Percursos, apresenta os aspectos pessoalísticos da autora desta pesquisa em relação ao tema investigado, onde suas inquietações são apresentadas e coadunadas com sua intencionalidade no estudo aqui apresentado. No primeiro capítulo tem-se o subcapítulo, Introdução, neste faz-se uma apreciação sobre a história do adoecimento psíquico na Psiquiatria ocidental. No segundo capítulo apresenta-se os Objetivos, sendo que a proposta do Objetivo Geral foi estudar teoricamente sobre as relações interpessoais e suas influências no adoecimento psíquico à luz da literatura rogeriana, e o lugar da doença mental na história da Psiquiatria. Através dos Objetivos Específicos fez-se estudos sobre a história da Psiquiatria e da doença mental, sobre os fundamentos das condições facilitadoras propostas por Carl Rogers, suas contribuições para a promoção da saúde mental e possibilitou construir reflexões sobre o adoecimento psíquico nos espaços institucionais, dentre estes o acadêmico. No terceiro capítulo apresenta-se a metodologia utilizada e no quarto capítulo intitulado Referenciais Teóricos, desenvolveu-se o proposto nos Objetivos: Geral e Específicos, através dos seguintes subcapítulos: 4.1 A saúde mental, qual o lugar das relações humanas nesta construção? 4.2 Carl Rogers, e o sentido das relações humanas e 4.3 As condições facilitadoras como recursos essenciais na promoção da saúde mental. E por fim, o quinto capítulo onde se faz nas Considerações Finais uma apreciação sobre o estudado através do olhar da autora desta pesquisa.___ABSTRACT The present work deals with the place of Carl Rogers' facilitating conditions in the promotion of mental health. In order to understand the theme, Humanistic Psychology was studied, more specifically the work of Carl Rogers, the history of Psychiatry in the West, and mental illness in contemporary times. The first chapter, called "Journeys", presents the personal aspects of the author of this research in relation to the investigated theme, where her inquietudes are presented and joined to her intentionality in the study presented here. The first chapter contains the subchapter Introduction, this chapter presents an appreciation of the history of mental illness in Western psychiatry. The second chapter presents the Objectives, and the proposal of the General Objective was to study theoretically the interpersonal relationships and their influence on mental illness in the light of Rogerian literature, and the place of mental illness in the history of Psychiatry. Through the Specific Objectives, studies were made about the history of Psychiatry and mental illness, about the fundamentals of the facilitating conditions proposed by Carl Rogers, his contributions to the promotion of mental health, and made it possible to build reflections about psychological illness in institutional spaces, among them the academic one. In the third chapter, the methodology used is presented and in the fourth chapter, titled Theoretical References, we developed what was proposed in the Objectives: General and Specific, through the following subchapters: 4.1 Mental health, what is the place of human relations in this construction? 4.2 Carl Rogers and the meaning of human relations and 4.3 The facilitating conditions as essential resources in the promotion of mental health. And finally, the fifth chapter where the Final Considerations are made, an appreciation of what was studied through the eyes of the author of this research.
