dc.descriptionThis research aims to analyze the presence of women in the environment of the Codo City Council, approaching a historical context as well as making contemporary observations, in this perspective, we try to show the struggles of women to conquer their space in society, making a approach from the eighteenth century in the French Revolution, where a woman played a very important role during the Revolution. In this research, we will also make a brief historical analysis of the struggle of women to conquer their rights in Brazil and finally, we will approach the participation of women in the environment of the Municipality of Codó, listing a historical research through documents and observations through the experience in the In the field of research, in terms of methodology, we started the research from the reading of bibliographic sources and aliases of archival documents from the annals of the Codó City Council, obtained with authors such as Tania Machado Morin (2009), Maria Amelia Teles (1999, 2014) Joice Berth (2019) and Charliane Santos do Vale (2017), among them others, who addressed this issue in their research. From the conclusions reached, we can highlight the restriction of women in occupying public positions of power.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractEste estudo tem como objetivo fazer análise do empoderamento feminino a partir da presença da mulher no ambiente da Câmara Municipal de Codó. A pesquisa considera elementos do contexto histórico desde a Revolução Francesa, do século XVIII, até elementos do contexto social brasileiro na contemporaneidade, onde destacamos a forte participação das mulheres. Em termos metodológicos, partimos da experiência pessoal como comissionado nesta mesma instituição, somado a leitura de fontes bibliográficas e alises de documentos e arquivos dos anais desta casa legislativa, trabalhamos com autores como Tania Machado Morin (2009), Maria Amélia Teles (1999, 2014), Joice Berth (2019) e Charliane Santos do Vale (2017) dentre outros, os quais abordaram esta temática em suas pesquisas. Das conclusões às quais chegamos podemos destacar o cerceamento das mulheres na ocupação de cargos públicos de poder.pt_BR
