Arte enquanto expressão filosófica: uma abordagem do nu artístico em Egon Schie

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem por objetivo analisar o nu feminino nas obras de Egon Schiele por um viés filosófico, estético e de gênero, buscando significados que essas obras possuem. A pesquisa adota uma metodologia bibliográfica, baseada em obras filosóficas, sociológicas e artísticas que investigam as representações do nu feminino e as construções ideológicas do olhar masculino. Embora Schiele tenha buscado romper convenções estéticas de sua época, suas obras ainda refletiam uma visão cultural e social da mulher como objeto de contemplação e desejo. A presente pesquisa conclui que o estudo crítico dessas obras é importante para compreender as várias camadas de significados sociais e culturais que a arte tem a nos mostrar e como isso molda nossa visão ao observar o corpo feminino nu.__ABSTRACT: This research aims to analyze the female nude in the works of Egon Schiele through a philosophical, aesthetic, and gender perspective, seeking the meanings these works convey. The study adopts a bibliographic methodology, based on philosophical, sociological, and artistic texts that investigate representations of the female nude and the ideological constructions of the male gaze. Although Schiele sought to break the aesthetic conventions of his time, his works still reflected a cultural and social view of women as objects of contemplation and desire. This research concludes that a critical study of these works is important for understanding the various layers of social and cultural meanings that art has to offer and how this shapes our perception when observing the female nude body.
