| Resumo: | RESUMO O presente trabalho intitulado “A Cena Teatral de Santa Helena-Maranhão” buscou destacar os principais movimentos teatrais dessa cidade da baixada maranhense, tendo foco a tradicional Via Sacra do município de Santa Helena que em 2024 completou 30 anos de montagem. O artigo trabalha também discussões sobre o Teatro Comunitário e de como essa prática é importante para várias pessoas de diferentes realidades e contextos, bem como é acessível para diferentes públicos. As principais autoras para a fundamentação desta pesquisa foram: Márcia Pompeo (2008), Maria José Lisboa (2020) e Margot Berthold (1972). Este trabalho também carrega memórias da autora deste artigo e elas são apresentadas junto da bagagem teórica ao longo da escrita do texto. De certo modo, a pesquisa qualitativa se fez presente na condução deste artigo e concluiu-se que a cena teatral de Santa Helena é potente como Teatro Comunitário, fazendo parte da diversidade do Teatro Maranhense. |
| Descrição: | ABSTRACT This work, entitled “The Theater Scene of Santa Helena-Maranhão,” seeks to highlight the main theater movements of this city in the Maranhão lowlands, focusing on the traditional Via Sacra of the municipality of Santa Helena, which completed 30 years of production in 2024. The article also discusses Community Theater and how this practice is important for many people from different realities and contexts, as well as how this specific type of theater is accessible to different audiences. The main authors for the foundation of this research were: Márcia Pompeo (2008), Maria José Lisboa (2020), and Margot Berthold (1972). This work also carries memories of the author of this article, and they are presented together with the theoretical background throughout the writing of the text. In a certain way, qualitative research was present in the conduction of this article, and it was concluded that the theater scene of Santa Helena is powerful with Community Theater being part of the diversity of Maranhão Theater. |
