A educação musical como direito nas escolas públicas de Imperatriz-MA: uma análise sobre a efetivação desse Direito na rede municipal de ensino fundamental

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar a efetivação do direito à educação musical na rede municipal de ensino fundamental em Imperatriz-MA, avaliando os impactos que a legislação vigente sobre o tema gerou na prática, e os desafios enfrentados por alunos e professores. Para tanto, utiliza-se uma abordagem qualitativa, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, que consistiu em analisar artigos, teses, dissertações e documentos oficiais, bem como estudo de campo, que consistiu na aplicação de questionário a professores de Artes de 3 escolas da rede municipal. Os resultados indicam que apesar do ensino musical estar formalmente inserido no currículo e nos materiais didáticos da rede municipal, sua efetivação encontra desafios na prática. As principais dificuldades incluem a falta de formação específica dos professores, a infraestrutura limitada disponível e a carga horária insuficiente dedicada à prática musical. Conclui-se que a análise realizada reforça a importância de superar as dificuldades enfrentadas, para que o direito à educação musical seja plenamente garantido e contribua de maneira eficaz para o desenvolvimento integral dos alunos.___ABSTRACT This work's main objective is to analyze the implementation of the right to musical education in the municipal elementary school network in Imperatriz-MA, evaluating the impacts that current legislation on the subject has generated in practice, and the challenges faced by students and teachers. To this end, a qualitative approach was used, through bibliographical research, which consisted of analyzing articles, theses, dissertations and official documents, as well as a field study, which consisted of applying a questionnaire to Arts teachers from 3 schools in the municipal network. The results indicate that although musical teaching is formally included in the curriculum and teaching materials of the municipal network, its implementation faces challenges in practice. The main difficulties include the lack of specific training for teachers, the limited infrastructure available and the insufficient workload dedicated to musical practice. It is concluded that the analysis carried out reinforces the importance of overcoming the difficulties faced, so that the right to musical education is fully guaranteed and contributes effectively to the integral development of students.
