A utilização de um recurso didático como catalisador para o ensino de assuntos relacionados a ângulos

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar o impacto do uso de material didático manipulável na compreensão dos assuntos relacionados a ângulos por alunos do 9º ano do ensino fundamental em uma escola pública do estado do Maranhão. A metodologia adotada foi a exploratória, de natureza qualitativa. Vale destacar que o material didático analisado foi elaborado pelo autor da pesquisa, denominados por ele de "Squadrangulo". Inicialmente, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura, abordando os principais conceitos teóricos relacionados ao uso de materiais didáticos manipuláveis no ensino de matemática. Autores como Lorenzato (2006), Veiga (2010),entre outros foram estudados para embasar teoricamente a pesquisa. Em seguida, foram desenvolvidas atividades práticas em sala de aula, utilizando o material "Squadrangulo". Durante a pesquisa em sala, foram realizadas observações para avaliar o impacto do uso do material didático manipulável na compreensão dos conceitos pelos alunos. Os resultados obtidos foram analisados qualitativamente, levando em consideração o desempenho dos alunos, o envolvimento nas atividades e a percepção deles em relação ao material utilizado. Os resultados preliminares indicaram que o uso do material didático manipulável "Squadrangulo" favoreceu a compreensão dos conceitos relacionados a ângulos pelos alunos do 9º ano do ensino fundamental. Os alunos sentiram maior interesse e participação ativa nas aulas. Vale destacar que "Squadrangulo", pode ser utilizado para auxiliar no ensino de ângulo, tornando as aulas mais dinâmicas e facilitando a compreensão dos conceitos por parte dos alunos.__ABSTRACT: This work aimed to investigate the impact of the use of manipulative didactic material on the understanding of subjects related to angles by students of the 9th grade of elementary school in a public school in the state of Maranhão. The methodology adopted was exploratory, of a qualitative nature. It is worth noting that the didactic material analyzed was prepared by the author of the research, called by him "Squadrangulo". Initially, a literature review was carried out, addressing the main theoretical concepts related to the use of manipulative teaching materials in mathematics teaching. Preliminary results indicated that the use of the manipulable teaching material "Squadrangulo" favored the understanding of concepts related to angles by students in the 9th grade of elementary school. The students felt greater interest and active participation in the classes. It is worth noting that "Squadrangulo" can be used to help teach angles, making classes more dynamic and facilitating students' understanding of concepts.
